Dear Corporate Sponsor Representative,
Broken Arrow Lacrosse was established in 2018. At the time, there were high school club lacrosse teams that served Jenks, Union, Owasso and several other private schools in the Tulsa area. Broken Arrow was the only largest school that did not have a high school for it’s youth to feed into. Our club focuses on young men in the Broken Arrow area in grades 9-12. Broken Arrow has a strong youth program but once they complete 8th grade, there was no place for them to play except for with other clubs in the Tulsa area. These boys are loyal to their school and community and wanted to wear the BA name on their uniform.
As parents, we decided that these boys deserve to have their own team and we made that happen. The goal is to ensure that children living in the Broken Arrow area have access to be developed in the game of lacrosse while living in one of the largest cities in the state of Oklahoma. We would like to eventually offer both boys and girls lacrosse under the Broken Arrow name.
We are now looking forward to our third season! We continue to build and grow and with that growth comes additional expenses. Some of these young men have been playing the game for the past four years so they are experienced and want to pass on their experience to new players through our new recruiting process. However, there are many expenses that relate to the development and maintenance of a club. The players are responsible for purchasing their own equipment which can average about $500.00. In addition to that there are uniforms and other expenses that are detailed below. Our mission is simple. Every child that wants to participate will be given the opportunity. The problem is that for a lot of families the costs are just too much as all lacrosse programs in Oklahoma are club teams not school teams. In the past, we have relied on parent contributions for these expenses. However, with the development of a Broken Arrow Lacrosse Club, we are seeking assistance from those organizations with an interest in helping to develop an untapped sport in the Broken Arrow area. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in America!
The major expenses club include fees for uniforms, equipment, field rental, and referees. We were hoping that this would be an area that your organization would be willing to assist with securing. The primary use of your sponsorship money will be to offset player participation costs.
In return for your sponsorship, we would be willing to place your organization’s logo on our club banner. The banner will be displayed at all games, fundraisers, and community events. You would also be listed as a key sponsor on all club literature and on our website.
It is our hope that this is a sponsorship that you might be willing to consider. We are happy to provide you with further details and a full break down of the likely costs. BAHS Lacrosse Club is a 501c3 organization.
